Workout privacy policy

Summary

Workout is a local tool. It does not send data to Dubar.com or any third-party service. No account is required. No analytics are collected.

Data the tool processes

Workout reads and writes files on your own machine:

• Workout files — plain Markdown files you author and store on your own computer.
• Generated FIT files — structured workout files created locally and transferred directly to your connected Garmin device over USB or MTP. These files are not sent to Dubar.com.
• Log files — optional plain text notes you create on your own machine. These are not transmitted anywhere.

Garmin device and platform data

When a FIT file is transferred to a Garmin device, the device and Garmin Connect process it under Garmin's own privacy policy and your Garmin account settings. Dubar.com has no visibility into that data.

Garmin Training API (planned)

A future version of the tool may optionally use the Garmin Training API to sync workouts through Garmin Connect. If that feature is added:

• An OAuth access token issued by Garmin will be stored locally on your machine. It will not be sent to Dubar.com.
• Workout data sent through the API will be governed by Garmin's privacy policy and your Garmin account settings.
• Use of the API will be explicit and opt-in. The tool will continue to work without an API connection.

No data sent to Dubar.com

The Workout tool does not communicate with Dubar.com servers. No usage data, crash reports, telemetry, or personal information is collected or transmitted to Dubar.com.
